About us

A family roofing company, run by the owner.

Glades Edge Roofing is a family business based in Davie. We have served Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade for over 20 years, one roof at a time.

The owner

Brian started Glades Edge to do it properly.

Brian brought together experienced crews to build the company he had in mind: one that walks you through the options for your home, lets you choose with no pressure, and stays in touch through the whole project.

Working and living on the coast gave him a particular respect for storm-damaged homes, and a preference for repairs that are quick, efficient and transparent. Customers tend to say the same thing about him: he came out in person, he explained everything, and he picked up the phone.

Glades Edge Roofing is a State Certified Roofing Contractor, license CCC1334004, and is fully licensed and insured.

How we work

What customers notice first

  • The owner shows up

Quotes are done in person, usually by Brian, so you get real measurements and a real conversation instead of a number in an email.

  • Prices you can follow

Itemized estimates with nothing buried in a surcharge, so you can compare them line by line with anyone else’s.

  • Someone answers

Calls, texts and emails get answered through the whole job, and any issue that comes up gets dealt with quickly.

  • A clean site

Tarps over the landscaping, debris straight into our trucks, and the property cleaned up before we leave.

How every roof goes on

Tear off. Inspect. Repair. Protect.

The same four steps on every replacement, before a single tile, shingle or metal panel is laid.

  1. Roofing crew at work on the first morning of a re-roof at a large home in Hawks Landing, Plantation

Hawks Landing, PlantationFirst day of prep

    Tear off

The old roof comes off down to the deck and goes straight into our trucks. Nothing new is laid over old problems.

  2. Roofer in a straw hat and blue shirt nailing down bare plywood decking, with rolls of new underlayment beside him

    Tear off and prep

    Inspect

With the deck bare, we check every sheet of wood and show you what we find before anything is covered.

  3. Roofer working across a light gray shingle roof on a brown single-story home

    Shingle re-roof in progress

    Repair

Rotten wood and damaged fascia are replaced, so the new roof is fastened to sound wood.

  4. Front of a white Mediterranean home in Hawks Landing, Plantation, with dark garage doors and a roof dried in for tile

Hawks Landing, PlantationDry-in complete, ready for tile

    Protect

A fully adhered Polyglass water barrier seals the deck. Then the tile, shingle or metal goes on.
